IDA JOSEFIINA

I was born above the Arctic Circle in Finland and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since graduating high school I have spent time in both of my home countries, in China and now for the past year here in Stockholm. These past years have been full of self discoveries that I want to share with you. The ABC's of Ida.

A) People with a drive and stamina to build something from scratch, develop it into a functioning concept, and then capitalize on the idea that is providing others with real value are my heroes. That takes real courage, patience and hard work. (And a little bit of luck.)

The most highly impact ideas can make 1) a real difference and 2) the most money. This idea is in essence what makes me want to work in tech with inspiring entrepreneurs who spend an endless amount of energy to build something they believe in.

B) Traveling isn't just traveling. Being in an unfamiliar environment teaches you so much constantly that self-improvement is heavily accelerated.

I value traveling and embrace it as a lifestyle not only for the excitement, but mostly for the insane learning curves. While living in China I felt as all interactions, commutes and life in general gave heightened experiences that taught me so much. That's invaluable to me.

C) Work needs to be more than just a job.

What's the point of spending the majority of your waking hours doing something you don't fully believe in? For me the most important aspects in work are the people, the impact you can have, efficiency, freedom with responsibility and the community. This makes me happy.
